UPDATE: Welp, it looks like it's definite! While speaking to Wendy Williams today (Sept. 20), Teyana Taylor coyly admitted that she was, in fact, married to Iman Shumpert. When Wendy asked the star if she had already walked down the aisle, Teyana responded, "Maybe...maybe not. But, maybe."
That's all we need, Teyana! Watch her talk about her new hubby above.
In a previous interview with Vogue, Teyana Taylor also revealed a lot as she was speaking about starring in Kanye West's "Fade" music video.
The young star spoke about the process she went through to get the role, how she keeps her body in AMAZING shape, and even Iman Shumpert's support throughout it all.
Teyana even made a minor slip up and called the NBA star her "husband." When speaking about the shower scene at the end of the video, she said, “What makes it even doper is that he [Kanye] didn’t put me in a position where I was with a male model or male actor. There was trust and comfort and protection because I knew I was with a person that I’m already becoming one with."
She continued: "To have that moment with him, only made that moment so much sexier, so much more genuine, so much more pure. You felt it off the screen. When I watched it, I felt the love because it was something that I shared with my husband."
Tey soon started talking about how Iman felt about the video when it premiered at the 2016 VMAs. "He just kept saying how happy he was for me. He kept asking if I was ready because he said, once this video drops, once it’s out here, it’s about to go down. He was dying though," she admitted.
Then she added: "Most importantly, he’s my biggest supporter. I’m pretty sure there was no telling what was going through his mind [at the shoot] as he had to stand in front of a whole cast of people in a shower. He’s a very private person. But even if he was uncomfortable with certain things, I would’ve never known. That’s what you call a supporter. 'This moment is about my wife and that’s all that matters.'"
Being the true talent she is, Teyana also revealed that she choreographed her entire routine for the vid. She also admitted how she got her insane body back, after giving birth to her 8-month-old daughter. "This is the trick question right here. You’re going to gag right now because I would really be lying to you if I told you that I worked out," she started. "I keep it really real, I don’t like to lie and say I work out, three, four times a week. All I do is dance. All I do is dance."
