Trevor Siemian lead the Denver Broncos to a 21-20 victory in his first start as the Denver Broncos starting QB. Siemian was completed 18 of 26 passes for 178 yards. He threw one touchdown and 2 interceptions.
The Panthers had a chance to win the game with 9-seconds left, but Graham Gano missed a 50-yard field goal that would have given them the lead.
C.J. Anderson rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown for the Broncos while fullback Andy Janovich scored a touchdown on his only run of the game.
For the Panthers Cam Newton threw for 194 yards and rushed for 54. He threw one touchdown to Kelvin Benjamin and rushed for another.
