The sports world is mourning the loss of Arnold Palmer. The golf icon has passed away at the age of 87. Known as "The King", Palmer captured seven major championships during his legendary career. He won the last of his four Masters titles in 1964.
His 62 PGA Tour wins are the 5th most all-time. Palmer was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974. He also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2004 and the Congressional Gold Medal in 2008.
