The Blue Jays completed a three-game sweep of the Rangers in their American League Division Series with a 7-6 win in 10 innings at Rogers Centre. It's the second straight season Toronto has advanced to the ALCS. Josh Donaldson scored the game-winning run when Russell Martin grounded into a fielder's choice and Rougned Odor had a throwing error trying to get the double play.
Edwin Encarnacion was 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI. Robert Osuna earned the victory for the Jays by throwing two scoreless innings. Rangers starter Colby Lewis put them in a hole by giving up five runs on five hits in two-plus innings. The Rangers rallied to take a 6-5 lead on a Mitch Moreland two-run double in the sixth, but they weren't able to hold the lead. Troy Tulowitzki scored the following half-frame on a passed ball to tie the game. Toronto awaits the winner of the Indians and Red Sox ALDS. Cleveland is up 2-0.
