The Chicago Cubs have tied up the World Series at 1-1 with a 5-1 victory against the Cleveland Indians in game 2 of the World Series. Kyle Schwarber powered the Cubs with 2 RBIs to win their first World Series game since 1945.
The Cubs got off to an early start when Anthony Rizzo hit an RBI double in the first inning. Jake Arrieta pitched 5.2 innings giving up 2 hits and one run on a wild pitch in the 6th inning.
Trevor Bauer only lasted 3.2 innings for the Indians giving up 2 runs on 6 hits. He had 87 pitches when he was taken out.
Game 3 will take place in Chicago on Friday night. It will be the first World Series played at Wrigley Field since the Cubs lost game 7 to the Detroit Tigers on October 10, 1945.
