Wow! Just when you thought the petty was being left behind in 2016, something like this happens. Atlanta Falcons DJ Jay Envy is planning on playing Future's music during the Seattle Seahawks' next playoffs game. Is he doing this to taunt the team's quarterback Russell Wilson?
If you've been keeping track of the drama between Ciara, Future and Wilson; then you already know that Future is Cici's ex-boyfriend and father of her son, Baby Future. Moreover, Wilson and Ciara are happily married newlyweds and are expecting their first child together.
But even before they tied the knot in July 2016, Future expressed how much he disliked Wilson being around Baby Future. Things were so bad between the rapper and the NFLer that Ciara filed a lawsuit that claimed that she feared Future would kill Wilson. However, it looks like time really does heal all wounds because Cici dropped her lawsuits against her ex, and is mainly focusing on her new man and family.
But, even though everyone seems to sort of be in an OK place now, a certain Atlanta DJ is still bringing the mess. Jay Envy has every intention of turning up to Hendrix, as Wilson is playing on the field. “This is Atlanta. I play Future at every home game,” Envy told Complex. “That’s like not playing [Kanye] in Chicago. It just doesn’t happen. I’m not not going to play Future because of a certain team or player…I’m going to play it and, to be honest, no one has hit me up directly saying I can’t play the records I normally play.”
