Final Four Is Set
Four teams are moving on in the NCAA tournament. North Carolina and South Carolina both punched their tickets to the national semifinals on Sunday.
The top-seeded Tar Heels held off second-seeded Kentucky 75-73 to win the South Region. UNC will face third-seeded Oregon next Saturday in Arizona. The Ducks crushed top-seeded Kansas 74-60 on Saturday to capture the Midwest Region.
The seventh-seeded Gamecocks knocked off fourth-seeded Florida 77-70 to advance to the Final Four. South Carolina will take on top-seeded Gonzaga, which cruised past Xavier 83-59 to win the West Region on Saturday.
In the case of South Carolina, it is the first ever trip to the semi finals for the Gamecocks.
