During the NFL regular season, Mohamed Sanu likes to draw attention on the field. But he didn't realize how many people follow him in the offseason as well.
According to CNN, the Atlanta Falcons wide receiver was on his way to the spring football game at Rutgers when the woman sitting behind him on the airplane approached him.
She handed him a letter, told him to read it later, and then walked away.
Sanu had spent the whole flight studying his playbook, so he was surprised when he looked up and received the letter.
The letter began:
“You don't know us, but we wanted to thank you.”
he explained that her 10-year-old son was watching Sanu the whole flight.
The mom was impressed that the football player had spent his time studying plays, eating healthy foods, and being polite to everyone.
