Group Led By Jeb Bush, Derek Jeter Wins Bid To Purchase Florida Marlins

A new report says the Miami Marlins baseball team is being sold to a group led by former MLB all-star Derek Jeter and ex-Florida Governor Jeb Bush for $1.3 billion. Before the deal can be finalized it needs at least 75% of MLB owners to approve.

Current Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria was reportedly asking $1.5-billion.  Loria purchased the Marlins in 2002 for $158-million.
