A suicide letter from the late NFL star Aaron Hernandez to his fiancee is now public. Before committing suicide last month the ex-Patriot penned a letter to Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez saying "YOURE RICH."
Hernandez was likely referencing the fact his suicide might cancel his original murder conviction, which would force the New England Patriots to honor his signing bonus and pay out millions of dollars. In the letter, Hernandez told his fiancee to tell his full story and that he previously told her "what was coming indirectly." The star tight-end was serving a life sentence for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd. Hernandez hanged himself with a bed sheet in his cell in late April.
