The Spurs are heading to the Western Conference finals. San Antonio didn't need star Kawhi Leonard to hammer the Rockets, 114-75, at the Toyota Center in Game Six of the West semifinals.
LaMarcus Aldridge picked up the slack for Leonard, who was out with an ankle injury, putting up 34 points and 12 rebounds. Jonathon Simmons added 18 as San Antonio closed the series out 4-2.
It was another rough performance for Houston MVP candidate James Harden. He scored 10 points on 2-and-11 shooting and had six turnovers in their season-ending defeat.
The Spurs move on to face the Warriors in the next round starting with Game One Sunday in Oakland.
