Pope Urges Pro Football Hall Of Famers To Lead Their Communities

Pope Francis is encouraging Pro Football Hall of Famers to sportsmanship in their communities.  The Pope met with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and former players Chris Doleman, Franco Harris, Floyd Little, Ronnie Lott, Curtis Martin and Jim Taylor yesterday.  He reminded them that the values of teamwork, fair play and the pursuit of personal excellence are in reality religious virtues.

Francis said those virtues that they possess are urgently needed in their communities.
