Odell Beckham Jr. Mourns The Loss Of His Biggest Fan To Cancer (PHOTO)

Odell Beckham Jr. is mourning the loss of his biggest fan, a nine-year-old boy named Jayro Ponce who lost his battle with cancer. 

It was just on Friday (July 21) that the wide receiver visited the youngster at his hospital beside. Ponce was suffering from a malignant rhabdoid tumor, which is a rare form of cancer. Before he past away, he got to meet his favorite pro baller thanks to the Make-A-Foundation. 

“It’s hard to even fully understand these situations,” Beckham wrote on Instagram Tuesday (August 1) morning. “Crushed, hurt, upset this one cut deep. I had the pleasure of meeting this young man. Truly an amazing person filled with beautiful energy."

The Giants player continued: “Against all odds u fought lil bro, everyday,day after day. For yourself and for your family. God truly has a plan for everybody and everything. Young Jayro u have taught me more than u could have imagined. To the family I thank u for allowing me to visit wit you guys and be there to support .I’ll be here for life for u guys. I kno Jayro is in a better place and that God now has him. Rest in Peace Jayro.”
