The Los Angeles Rams may owe the state of Missouri some money. The Rams may owe the state up to $352,000 in back taxes from when the team was still playing in St. Louis.
Yesterday, the Missouri Supreme Court decided that an administrative hearing commission was mistaken when it decided the Rams did not have to pay state sales tax on a specialty entertainment fee that was placed on tickets sold between 2007 and 2013. The Rams' lawyers argue that the state of Missouri actually owes the organization money for improperly assessed sales taxes.
