Google Fires Employee Over Controversial Memo

Google is firing an employee who wrote a memo that criticized the company's diversity policies.  Google engineer James Damore has been fired over the memo titled "Google's Ideological Echo Chamber."

His memo alleged that Google quashed conservative voices within the company and there was a biological reason for the lack of women in the tech industry.  Google's CEO sent a memo in response that said Damore's message violated the company's code of conduct.
