A career behind the mic is apparently not in the cards for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. New York news media reports Christie will not be taking over afternoons on WFAN Radio replacing Mike Francesa. Christie has filled in on The Fan in the past. Christie said Sunday he pulled himself out of the running as a host on WFAN once he leaves office in January disputing a report that he was no longer a candidate to work at the station.
Christie issued a statement saying "After considering the other options that I have been presented with for post-gubernatorial employment, I declined their request to do additional shows."
