A team from Texas could face another from Mexico in the Little League World Series Finals in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. On the domestic side, even though no longer undefeated, the Lufkin, Texas Little League All Stars team is still in the hunt. The Guadalupe Treviño Kelly squad from Reynosa, Mexico have won 3 in a row to remain in contention on the international side. This afternoon Reynosa takes on Canada in the international semifinal. Lufkin takes on Connecticut starting at 5:30 p.m. to determine which team will play North Carolina for the U.S. top prize.
The U.S. winner meets the International champs on Sunday at Howard J. Lamade Stadium in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
