Isaiah Thomas says he is not a damaged player. The All-Star guard tells ESPN he has made significant progress in his recovery from a hip injury. Thomas added he will "be the same player". Concerns over Thomas' hip have led the Cavaliers organization to seek additional compensation in the blockbuster trade of Thomas from the Celtics to Cleveland.
The stalled deal includes the exchange of Thomas for Kyrie Irving once things get smoothed out.
