J.D. Martinez smacked an MLB-record-tying 4 home runs in the Diamondbacks' 13-0 rout of the Dodgers in LA. Martinez is only the 18th player in MLB history to accomplish the feat. No player has ever hit 5 in a single game. Martinez finished 4-for-5 with 6 RBI for Arizona, which has won 11 straight games. Robbie Ray struck out a career-high 14 while pitching into the 8th inning to improve to 12-and-5. Rich Hill allowed 2 runs in 6 frames to fall to 9-and-7.
The Dodgers have dropped 4 straight and 9 of their last 10.
