The Ravens are going to have to find a new singer for the national anthem at home games. Joey Odoms, their official singer for the anthem, resigned on Tuesday night in an Instagram post. Odoms, who is African American and a combat veteran, said he no longer feels welcome due to how fans are reacting to players protesting racial inequality and social injustice.
He's been performing the national anthem at M&T Bank Stadium since 2014 after winning a singing competition to earn the role.
