Kyle Busch is the big winner at Martinsville, Virginia earning him a spot in the NASCAR final this season. Yesterday, most of the field was left scattered behind him in wrecks as Busch took the lead on the final lap and won the First Data 500. It was his 5th Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series win of the season. The win secures him a spot in the 2017 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Nov. 19. Martin Truex Jr. finished 2nd, Clint Bowyer was 3rd, Brad Keselowski took 4th and Kevin Harvick rounded out the top 5.
The next race in the NASCAR Monster Energy Series Playoff Round of 8 is Sunday afternoon, November 5th at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.
