El Chapo's Attorneys Want An Advance

El Chapo's lawyers are trying to get his trial delayed.  Court documents show Joaquín Guzmán's legal team complained over the weekend that they have not been paid and want the trial postponed from April to August or later.  His lead defense attorney also asked for more time to examine the mountain of evidence in the complex case.  Prosecutors will only agree to a two month delay, but the government has yet to rule on the motion.

Guzmán was extradited from Mexico a year ago to stand trial in the U.S. on drug trafficking and organized crime charges.
