The daughter of an unarmed black man killed at the hands of the New York Police Department remains in a coma. Erica Garner is hospitalized after suffering a heart attack this past weekend. She's the 27-year-old daughter of Eric Garner, who died in 2014 after he was put in a choke hold while being arrested for selling loose cigarettes on the street.
It's been reported that she has suffered major brain damage as a result of a lack of oxygen while in cardiac arrest.
