Iran Recognizes Jerusalem As Capital Of Palestine

Iran's parliament is unanimously approving a bill requiring the government to recognize Jerusalem as the permanent capital of Palestine.  A semi-official news agency of the Iranian government reported Wednesday's vote to approve the legislation was 207-to-0.  The bill is in response to President Trump's announcement earlier this month that the U.S. is recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

Palestinians claim east Jerusalem as the future capital of a Palestinian state.
