Chief Justice Calls For Harassment Policy Study

A review on how the federal court system handles sexual harassment cases is being mandated by the chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.  In his year-end report on the federal judiciary, Chief Justice John Roberts said the federal judicial system isn't immune from sexual harassment.  He laid out plans to evaluate the court system's standards of dealing with workplace harassment, which could result in changes.

Roberts' statement comes after a federal appeals judge announced his retirement amid numerous allegations of sexual harassment.
