A happiness expert says life is too short to be miserable at work. Fortune 500 adviser and happiness expert Annie McKee says there are 3 signs indicating that an employee may be experiencing burnout at work -- physical, emotional and relational. McKee says early warning signs include changes in eating or sleeping habits. Also, if an employee becomes overly pessimistic or cynical they may be closer to work burnout. Lastly, if an employee takes work frustrations home, that could create family discord.
McKee says the best cure is to find a reliable friend to talk through the issues.
