Former White House aide Steve Bannon regrets the comments he made in an explosive book about the Trump White House. In Michael Wolff's new book "Fire and Fury," Bannon blasted Donald Trump Junior, Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort for meeting with Russian nationals. Bannon said the meeting was "treasonous." Now, Bannon says, "Donald Trump Junior is a patriot and a good man." Bannon says his statement was not intended as a slight to President Trump's son.
Instead, Bannon says his comments pointed to Paul Manafort because of his knowledge of how the Russians operate.
