Two former software engineers are suing Google, alleging that the company discriminates against white, conservative men. James Damore and David Gudeman filed the lawsuit in a Northern California and allege that managers were strongly encouraged to hire more people from protected race and gender categories to the "detriment" of potential Caucasian male applicants.
According to The Verge, the two men have "dozens of pages of internal Google communications that the lawsuit alleges show bias at the company."
Back in August Damore was fired after he sent a memo which suggested that women were not biologically as capable as men to be software engineers.
Damore hopes to create a class action suit against Google.
