The lights are back on at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Visitors to the massive technology fair were left in the dark for about an hour early yesterday by a sudden power failure at the Las Vegas Convention Center. USA Today reports that officials believe the outage was caused when "condensation from heavy rainfall caused a flashover on one of the facility's transformers."
The annual show is the world's largest showcase of cutting-edge technology, where tech companies big and small unveil their latest innovations.
Things such as high-definition television, satellite TV, the DVD, and the CD player have all made their debuts at this show in the past.
