Sheriff Joe Arpaio Stands By President Trump

Former Maricopa County Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio says it doesn't matter to him if President Trump made vulgar comments to describe countries like Haiti and African nations.  According to the "Washington Post," Trump reportedly used a profanity-laced description while talking about immigration with lawmakers in the Oval Office.  Arpaio questioned the authenticity of the report, citing the recent tell-all book about the Trump White House.   Trump pardoned Sheriff Joe after he was found guilty of contempt of court for violating a judge's order on immigration law enforcement.

Arpaio announced this week he's running for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Arizona Republican Jeff Flake.
