Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin says the government is working hard to ensure that taxpayers start seeing tax cuts as soon as possible. In a White House briefing yesterday, Mnuchin noted that the IRS is making strides in simplifying tax forms and making them more user-friendly. Mnuchin cheered the big GOP tax that President Trump signed last month. He noted bonuses and wage hikes that have been announced by many companies.
Mnuchin also praised Walmart for raising the minimum wage for their workers.
