European airplane maker Airbus says it's considering ending production of its A-380 superjumbo aircraft if it doesn't receive more orders. The aircraft builder's sales director says it all depends on whether the plane's main customer Emirates airline places another order. The head of the Dubai-based airline says they "remain optimistic that a deal can be concluded." Airbus says Emirates is probably the only airline with the ability to take a maximum of 6 planes a year for 8 to 10 years.
The A-380 has twin decks of seats, and can feature amenities such as bars, lounges, beauty salons and duty-free shops.
