2 parents in California are in custody on torture charges after allegedly holding their 13 children captive. On Sunday, a 17-year-old told police she escaped from her home in Perris. She also claimed her 12 brothers and sisters were still being held by the parents. The Riverside County Sheriff's Office says officers subsequently found some of the siblings shackled to their beds. All 13 victims were malnourished and very dirty. They ranged in age from 2 to 29, and were all taken to the hospital.
The parents are each being held on $9,000,000 bail.
