President Trump Has Confidence In FBI Director

President Trump has "great confidence" in FBI Director Christopher Wray, according to White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.  In a briefing today, Sanders addressed reports that Wray recently threatened to resign if the deputy director was forced out.  She said the president supported Wray and would leave any internal leadership changes up to his discretion.  Wray reportedly threatened to walk away if Attorney General Jeff Sessions forced him to fire Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe.

During a photo-op earlier today, Trump said Wray never threatened to quit.
