Conner Smith Reveals Duet With Hailey Whitters On Long-Awaited Debut Album

Photo: Getty ImagesConner Smith teamed up with “Everything She Ain’t” hitmaker Hailey Whitters to create the sole collaboration on his debut full-length album, Smoky Mountains. Smith released the long-awaited, 12-track project on Friday (January 26).

The “Creek Will Rise” star announced “Roulette On The Heart” with Whitters — who posted photos and videos from the music video set to tease “our dark sad girl era” — just before his record’s release. Smith, 23, hails the project “a journey through my roots,” and hopes the tracks will resonate with others as they have with him:

“This album is a journey through my roots, a tribute to the place that shaped me, and every song is a piece of my heart,” Smith said in a statement on Friday. “I’ve poured my soul into these tracks, and I hope they resonate with you as much as they do with me.”

Smith is in the midst of his headlining “Creek Will Rise Tour,” named after his high-energy radio single. He kicked off the tour in Atlanta, Georgia, with stops coming up in Ohio, Tennessee, Indiana and other destinations. It comes to an end in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
