Ballerini, 32, and Stokes, 33, took a walk together; however, they have not rekindled their relationship, unnamed sources confirmed to TMZ. The sources told the celebrity news hub that Ballerini and Stokes simply “happened to be in the same city,” and opted to meet up.
Ballerini slid into Stokes’ DMs in December 2022. She and the Outer Banks star sparked dating rumors for the first time the following month, when he posted a photo of the couple sitting closely together at the College Football Playoff National Championship at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Ballerini confirmed she and Stokes were dating in an interview onCall Her Daddy. They went on to share sweet glimpses into their relationship on social media and in interviews over the years. News broke of the couple’s breakup in September 2025. Although Ballerini and Stokes got back together by New Year’s Eve, they ultimately parted ways again shortly afterward. The country star, who shared that she recently moved to New York City for a fresh chapter in her life, shared with fans in December 2025, “I’m trying to make my personal life personal for now. Unless it comes from me, it’s not from me. And that is really important in protecting my peace right now.”
